The 3 updates
It all started when I checked my cloud storage - it was nearly full! I tried deleting most of my Minecraft mods from my laptop, and it deleted 4% of my storage! You try keeping mods stored on your laptop/computer! That's when I got an idea to make the RPG game, Mineplay! (Fun Fact: the name of the game was inspired by what RPG stands for - Role Playing Game!)
==========RELEASE==========
I started working on it on the first day of my school holiday! I watched tutorials on how to make an RPG game, and I followed those instructions, excluding the dialogue part! It didn't work! I finished during the school holidays, but the textures were a bit odd... I decided to fix them later!
==========REUPLOAD==========
All I did was add a red exit button to the "Goodbye Level". Nothing special.
==========THE CONSOLE UPDATE==========
I wanted my brother to actually enjoy my game, which we'll talk about later. All I did was watch a gamepad tutorial, get it to work, and even added an attack sound effect!
==========THE TEXTURE UPDATE==========
I spent 2 days making the player and the enemies look accurate to the Minecraft Movie bid by bit, and also replaced the terraria music with "Midport Village", (a piece of music from the Minecraft Move (if you haven't watched it already) to spice things up.
==========HTML5 VERSION==========
Remember when I said my brother will enjoy my game? This is where things start to make sense: I made a HTML5 version of my game so that ANYBODY can make a website with MY game! And, without realising, I gave my brother an opportunity to play my game!
